“Me, my wife and mother in law called in here for some lunch whilst shopping in Beverley. Decent parking in the multi storey nearby makes access easy. A good amount of outdoor seating is available should you prefer to sit out watching the world go by. We chose to sit inside, the establishment is massive with a darts board, several pool tables and plenty of massive screens to show the sports. There are some comfy seats and sofas dotted around in strategic locations. It wasn’t too busy when we called in as a result service was fast and efficient. I did try to use the app to order from my table but it wouldn’t work; I had to go to the bar to submit my order. Not an issue, I just wanted to test the app really, it failed. Wi-Fi is available should the need arise. The staff were friendly and helpful, aesthetically the place gives off a great mood I imagine it’s pretty wild on a weekend! I ordered the Cajun chicken salad with garlic ciabatta which was a good portion size and very tasty. The mother in law ordered the Cajun chicken burger with extra patty, it was huge! The food was very good quality the only slight moan we had was the ‘crispy bacon’ served with the Cajun chicken burger wasn’t crispy, it was a little anaemic! The menu is good with a decent selection, they also do cocktails as well as a host of other specialist drinks. Based on this experience I would have no hesitations in coming back. Recommend!”

“We came to firepit for lunch and a catch up with friends. Great venue and atmosphere for watching sport. The service was great, Hollie was our server and she was personable taking an interest in our day. We got a variety of different food, which was all delicious. I would recommend the pork dog and tacos. All round great experience.”

“Super sports bar, great choice of drinks! Super friendly staff! Just the food lets them down! The menus are just a printed A4 sheet that’s blurry, waiting new ones apparently!! Over cooked chicken wings that are so bland, even with the dips, the mac n cheese balls are disgusting and dripping with oil! No flavour! Don’t get the fish tachos, I asked if it was frozen fish, they said no it’s fresh, yet when it came, the fish was watery and had no taste, classic frozen telltale! Other than the food, I’d recommend it!”

“Our initial server was a really nice lady who went above and beyond to be courteous and friendly with us. However the man who brought the food out to us (looked like a manager) didn't speak, hovered the plate in my wife's face and expected her to take it off him while she was dealing with my young daughter. The food was barely warm. My wife's 'warm steak sandwich' was clap cold. My burger was dry and tasteless and my Cola was flat as a fart. My little girl got a kids hotdog which had been sliced, and the ends looks hard and like it has been cut ages ago. She's not a fussy kid but she didn't like it at all. We had been out all day and were starving so we didn't complain to the nice lady who was serving us. We finished up and paid the bill (£60 for 2 adults and a young child) - which I wouldn't usually mind, but the quality was poor. Won't be returning; which is a shame because it's a nice, big, open bar with a decent atmosphere. Let down by the food and poor service from the manager.”

“Honest review, Thursday night food and few beers with family. Ordered, sat in a booth, waited for food, watched the chef put food on hot server, the food remained there for a good 10 minutes while to 1 staff tended to the bar, the service bell rang probably 3 times in that 10 minutes, i knew the food was gonna be cold...and i was correct, cold food. We ate the food because we were hungry so, I cant complain too much about that, we did tell the staff and she was apologetic. FREE PLAY THURSDAY apparently, so we wanted to play pool, only 1 cue between 2 tables, the supervisor apparently (off duty) was playing with the other cues, so customers came last. Beer was so so... ill be honest the brooklyn pilsner tasted off, smelled funny and gave me a bad stomach. Overall, not impressed, maybe return for a pint in the future but not rushing.”
